The Corn Moon

Tomorrow night- the moon is full. It is called the corn moon. Our corn however, is long since harvested (I think). It could possible that corn is on the husk on the stalk but I doubt it. I don't see a lot of the prairie and its farms these days.

We are in the dry hot period. Grasshoppers eat the last of the dead grass. Down to dirt line.

That is where we are now. Eaten down to the dirt line.
