Day 233

to everything

there is a season

turn

-sam baker

all night rain fell

even through this morning

slow and steady

gray thunder

muffled

above the soaked

rain valley

this year leaves

those last ones

still perched

like parchment songbird s

on the tips of November trees

look to the ground

-what a year it has been!

wind storm sunshine '

celebration

glory!

all that remains is

this last falling

this final drift

this gentle return

to lie upon the good dark earth

beneath

the comforting snow

to every thing

there is a season

turn
